ady Gaga, one of the most-anticipated concerts at Purdue University in recent memory, turned into one of the biggest disappointments tonight after the flamboyant entertainer cancelled the sold out show. The entire show has been rescheduled for 7:20 p.m. Jan. 26 at Elliott Hall of Music. Openers Semi Precious Weapons and Jason DeRulo will perform as well. Tickets for Thursday’s show will be good for Jan. 26. However there will be no refunds. Accompanied by a police officer, Purdue Convocations director Todd Wetzel went on stage at approximately 8:30 p.m. and told a restive crowd that due to “sudden illness” Gaga would not be able to perform.
